Under the auspices of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, Hong Kong Anti-Doping Committee (HKADC) will hold an Anti-Doping Education Outreach Programme on 20 & 21 February 2010 in the Marathon Expo at Hong Kong Victoria Park. The aim of the programme is to help sports enthusiast and the general public to gain a better understanding about the harmful effect of doping and thus to foster a drug-free sport culture.
HKADC will organize a number of activities during this two-day event, including the offering of interactive computer game, displaying of doping control kits, broadcasting of anti-doping promotion video, and distribution of anti-doping flyers. One of the highlighted activities will be the interactive computer game in which participants will play the Anti-Doping Quiz developed by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Participants getting good results in the quiz will be rewarded for their efforts with cherished prizes. Doping Control Officers will be available at the event to answer questions about anti-doping issues.
