The 2021 Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs) have taken effect on 1 January 2021. Here are some of the important changes:
- The definition of “Tampering” in Rule 5 now includes giving a false statement or evidence/documents;
- “Attempted Complicity” is included in Rule 9;
- The new Rule 11 has also been added: Acts by an Athlete or Other Person to Discourage or Retaliate Against Reporting to Authorities.
In view of all the changes, HKADC has produced a series of animations on ADRVs for athletes and athlete support personnel to understand the specific conduct and circumstances which constitute ADRVs.
