The Hong Kong Anti-Doping Committee (HKADC) announced today (11 August 2014) that no arrangement had ever been made with the Hong Kong Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation for doping control during the 2014 Hong Kong Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Invitation Championships held on 3 August 2014.

HKADC regretted to find that there was a false statement included in the Rules and Regulations for the aforesaid Championships claiming that HKADC would carry out doping tests for competing athletes during the heats and finals of the competition.

HKADC’s mission is to promote fair play and integrity of sport. We therefore solemnly denounced this act of dishonesty and deceit, and would reserve the rights to take legal actions whenever deemed necessary on this matter.
